RISE is an eclectic dance performance put together under the artistic direction of four Minneapolis-based choreographers. Through the hour and a half-long performance, the characters dig their way out of a desperate, bleak world by taking action and brilliantly banding together. As they perform jazz, modern, ballet and contemporary dance styles, these characters articulate the idea of power and strength in numbers. The result is a pathway to a more peaceful, thriving future.
