The first and most famous story of The Chronicles of Narnia has become a presentation of this unique, enchanted world filled with creatures and spirits of myth and fable, both good and evil, demonic and transcendent. The principal inhabitants, however, are the intelligent talking animals ruled by the majestic King Aslan, the great lion of Narnia. Though Aslan is often absent from the land (so that his very existence is doubted by some), he returns when the need for him is greatest. And entering Narnia at a moment of high adventure are some children—plucked from our world in unexpected ways to help Narnia and to learn from their Narnia odyssey lessons of courage, unselfishness and wisdom that will help them grow. Goonie's Comedy Club

Goonie's Open Mic: Join Goonie's every Thursday at 7:30pm for the best up and coming comics from around the Midwest. No cover.

Goonie's Comedy Club Presents: Floyd J. Phillips & Allen Trieu

Bob & Tom favorite Floyd J. Phillips’ humor is derived from his upbringing in the ghetto of Chicago. Floyd’s tough background gives him the courage to talk about the topics other people avoid. Floyd J. Phillips’ diverse comedy has allowed him to play USO tours, cruise ships, colleges, and comedy clubs across the nation. All of which has shown Floyd more of the world than he ever thought he would see.

Allen Trieu is a native of West Michigan who has molded his experiences into an eclectic act which has been described as unique and open-minded. His witty observations and personal style touches on many subjects including college, race, pop culture and even going green. Take that variety add a laid back style and that equals a good time for audience members of all different backgrounds (leave it to the asian guy to turn it into a math problem).

Dates: Friday 2/3 & Saturday 2/4

Times: 7:30pm & 10pm

Tickets: $13 (advance) $15 (at the door)
