Main Stage Opener: Lisa Bailey 2pm-3:30pm

Headliner: Mark Stary and the Whiskey Roses 4:30pm-6:30pm

Mark Stary is a songwriter who creates a musical blend of pop/classic/outlaw country with elements of blues/folk and rock 'n roll. In performances, Mark focuses on catchy, original compositions, classic favorites and obscure fan sing-along covers. Mark is also a staff song-writer for the publishing company, Walkerbout Music Group in Nashville, TN.

 

September 18, 2008:

Main Stage Opener: Todd Menton 2pm-3:30pm

Todd Menton has appeared at the Weston Irish Festival with many other renowned musicians. Menton has a new CD for sale, Where Will You Land, featuring 6 original compositions and 6 traditional tunes.

Headliner: Lehto and Wright 4:30pm-6:30pm

Lehto and Wright have a sound that is a unique blend of traditional and modern styles. By taking cues from the Irish, English and American folk traditions and interpreting them with contemporary guitar-based arrangements, Lehto and Wright have taken a fresh approach to the world of folk and folk rock.

 

September 25, 2008:

Main Stage Opener: Jeff Brooks 2pm-3:30pm

Headliner: Six Mile Grove 4:30pm-6:30pm

With roots in the cornfields of Minnesota, the band consists of two brothers, Brandon and Brian Samson, Barry Nelson and Dezi Wallcae. Six Mile Grove has a musical style that blends Americana/Alt-Country with Rock. They recently recorded and released the CD Bumper Crop, which is getting airplay on Country and American stations around the country.
